To do it right with new gears, a Supercase, cast iron midplate, new sliders, synchros, bearings, etc., I am looking at $1200+ if I assemble the tranny myself. If I stay with the Muncie, I am going to go with a new gearset with the M22 tooth angle. That is the reason for the high rebuild cost with the Muncie.
